THE GOSPEL OF JESUS - Hope, Comfort, Grace

Christ crucified - the sacrifice for our sins through His Blood at Calvary. Sanctification through His blood is His Grace being poured out to all. GOOD NEWS!!!

It is by FAITH and through JESUS that we have entered this state of grace in which we can boast about looking forward to God's glory.

But we can also boast about our sufferings which bring perseverance and perseverance brings hope.

This hope is not deceptive, because the love of God has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit which has been given us.

God has already taken care of whatever we think separates us from Him. God accepts us just the way we are. No one could ever be perfect enough in their actions, thoughts, emotions or deeds. Jesus fit that picture and He only.

Galatians 3:13 - Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law - having become the curse for us. For it is written - "Cursed is He that hangs on the tree."

Romans 4;16-25 - Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all.

Glory to God!!!

The Journey from Broken Vessel to Vessel of God

A wounded heart and soul can many times lead to an altered emotional life. The enemy brings in fear, and the individual begins to maintain an inner life for protection (escape) and/or they might lose their self control and act out. Fear brings on a thought life that is steeped with self condemnation, guilt, worry, anxiety, bitterness, self-hate and resentment (a life revolved around "I" and "Me.") evidence of inner turmoil.

How do we then see God?
God - he must be angry at me because - look at my life or my circumstances or my emotional torment.

The Word says God is love and never abandons us.
Romans 8:38 - "For I am persuaded that neither death nor life nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Our fears and thoughts trapped inside our head begin to take over. Darkness obscures the light of God and we begin to think and react out of fear. As we grow older, separate personalities can become more autonomous. Each personality has a limited amount of coping power because of the base emotion of fear. When these limits of our circumstances and inner life are reached - the mind can switch to an alternate personality or an alternate behavior. For example, fear resulting in outward anger or inward depression or both.

How can our God reach us. Each of us has turned to his own way. My ways are not your ways. You must learn to trust me and my ways - not because of your circumstances, but because of who I AM - the God of salvation and redemption.

For my Glory, I will heal your shattered life (minds and hearts) and I will be glorified through it.

Your strength will be renewed like the eagles and you will soar. TRUST ME.

I am the potter; you are the clay. I am the weaver; you are the thread.

I have overcome the world. Do not take your eyes off of me - the Light which shines into your darkness. You will become strong in me and the power of the Holy Spirit. Rest in me and allow me to heal you.

When you return to me,I will impart my love, and there will be a divine exchange: beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for a spirit of heaviness; so that we will be called trees of righteousness, for the Glory of the Lord.

For the Lord will comfort Zion. He will comfort all her waste places. He will make her wilderness like Eden. And her desert like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness will be found in it, thanksgiving and the voice of melody. My justice will rest as a light on the peoples. On my arm they will trust. Isaiah 51:3

Listen - those of you who have ears to hear. The journey from broken vessel to a vessel of God begins with the hearing of the Word.

LAMB IN THE MIDST OF THE THRONE

It's timeless in heaven. An angel declares to another..We have located the lost sheep we had been looking for. It wandered away from the Shepherd. Young, immature sheep like to wander away and get lost without their Shepherd. The Good Shepherd is gently leading, with his right hand, to carry us home to Father God.

We have all gone astray - each to our own way. But the issue is not the vastness of our roaming away and our sin; but the issue draws us to the vastness of JESUS' GRACE and MERCY toward his lost sheep - his picking us up when we are spiritually broken and then cleaning us up, sanctifying us in His blood, and restoring us back to Father God.

THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD . . .

I shall not want. I am in need of nothing but JESUS who provides for my every need according to His Grace and Mercy. He feeds me in green pastures; He leads me beside peaceful waters - where I can drink and lie down and sleep in peace so that my soul can be restored. {Rev 7: 15-17} "He who is sitting on the throne of God will protect and spread His tabernacle over and shelter them with His presence. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun smite them nor any scorching heat, for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will be their Shepherd, and He will guide them to the springs of the waters of life; and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."

THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD.. . .

He leads me gently in the paths of righteousness for his name sake. We are justified and declared righteous solely on the basis of the righteousness of Christ imputed to us by God through our FAITH IN CHRIST. I know not where I go, but I follow only where you lead me. I submit and humble myself to your way, your path, your Grace in order to ascend to you. For you promised that only with pure hearts and clean hands could we stand in your Holy place. Thank you for imparting this righteousness of God to us solely through CHRIST JESUS.

THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD...

Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me. Hosea 2:14 "Therefore, behold, I will allure her, will bring her into the wilderness and speak comfort to her. I will give her vineyards from there and the valley of Achor(death transformed into life) as a door of hope. She shall sing there as in the days of her youth, as in the day when she came up from the land of Egypt. You never abandon me in your Shadow; you are my refuge. I observe my enemies surround me and they open their mouths wide, like a ravening and roaring lion, but the presence of your Shadow comforts me and secures me. Your rod shields and protects me, while your staff guides me through this valley. I trust you completely as I surrender daily to your leading and guidance and restoration of my mind, will and emotions.

THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD...

Thou prepares a table before me in the presence of my enemies...You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.

Even when we are dealing with trials and tribulations in our life - in the presence of our enemy - Almighty God prepares a table where we sit down with Him and feast and drink dwelling in perfect peace and serenity. Hosea 2:18, "And I will break the bow and the sword and conflict out of the land and will make you lie down safely." Our soul is filled with abounding Grace, love, peace and comfort so that we are still, full of peace and rest in his presence. Hosea 2:19 - "And I will betroth you to Me forever; yes, I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and justice, in steadfast love, and in mercy."

THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD....

Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I will rest in the house of the Lord forever.

Through this Grace, I am detached and purged from myself. I am in complete union with my Beloved; reborn into his Kingdom, and anointed to engage more freely in His service and run in the way he directs - in heavenly fellowship with Him.

The Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their Shepherd.

CHOOSE THE PATH TO RIGHTEOUSNESS

Psalm 1:6, "The Lord Knows the Way of the Righteous, but the way of the Ungodly shall perish." We see ourselves sinking in our lives - but we still have the ability to choose and discern between the hindering, dead-end road or the one that will get us quickly to our destination. The Lord knows the Way .......he creates a way where there appears to be no way. We discern only through meditation day and night on the Word. (Psalm 1:2) "But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night."

Oh, but you say, "I'm between a rock and a hardplace. There is no obvious right path to follow." 1 Samuel 14:4. Jonathan, son of Saul, was between the passes before he and his armor bearer could go over to the Philistines' garrison on the other side. There was a sharp rock on one side and a sharp rock on the other side. Jonathan climbed up on his hands and knees with his armor bearer after him, and then the Philistines fell. Prayer opened up God's Way, and He gave Jonathan a sign for victory - "Come up after me." Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all things will be added.

Lord, save me; Lord, Create a way for me....Lord, Send me a sign....Lord, have mercy on me.

If we find ourselves paying more attention to the advice of those who do not believe in God than of those who fear Him and we behave more like unbelievers or we rationalize the things of God, we cannot stand with the righteous. Whatever it takes to return to God's way - prayer, faith, walking with the Spirit - we become like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf shall not wither, and whatever he does shall prosper. Psalms 1:3

God can do all things for those who believe. Pray, meditate on the Word, trust and obey.

Let's focus on believing the promises given to us by God, on submitting to Him the fears that we have, and on surrendering ourselves fully to the work and will of God, the Holy Spirit.

JOY UNSPEAKABLE AND FULL OF GLORY

"I have found the joy no tongue can tell; How its waves of glory roll! It is like a great o'er-flowing well springing up within my soul.

SING ALL TOGETHER NOW -- It is joy unspeakable and full of glory, full of glory, full of glory; it is joy unspeakable and full of glory, O the half has never yet been told!"

If some of you can remember this old song - it brings peace and joy to your heart for God says "I create the fruit of the lips."

As a born again Christian, this hymn has more meaning today than ever before. The hymn is transforming as is the Glory of Jesus Christ.

Joyously in song and without any reflection on ourselves - the Grace of God elevates us above ourselves into a realm of tranformation from the mind into the heart with waves of Holy Spirit love, peace and light. My senses are heightened and the Word flows freely. Flocks of birds fly into the trees, the sun blazes from the south.

"Return to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope." {Zechariah 9:12} "The Lord God will blow the trumpet, and go with whirlwinds from the south." {Zechariah 9:14}

"Rejoice geatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you." {Zechariah 9:9}

We respond to this flow of goodness, light and peace with joy that we have been
shown this treasure of happiness even when we feel sorrow. There is an infinitely greater reason for joy - I am the Lord their God. I am their shepherd.

I have found a hope so bright and clear, Living in the realm of grace, O the Savior's presence is so near I can see His smiling face. It is joy unspeakable and full of glory.

THE WORLD'S WISH LIST - GOD'S GIFT TO US

Tis the season to be jolly - fa-la-la, la-la, la-la-la-la.

God delights to hear "a new song" that praises Him. A new song from our heart lifting Him up for the many blessings He gave us. Through Him we possess all things - good and bad, just and unjust, right and wrong.

WORLD'S WISH LIST: God - I could use a new appearance to my body and face for the holidays, healing in my flesh.

GOD'S GIFT TO US: Psalms 103: "BLESS THE LORD, O my soul, and forget not all HIS benefits: who forgives all our iniquities, who HEALS all our diseases, who redeems our life from destruction, who crowns us with lovingkindness and tender mercies, who satisfies our mouth with good things SO THAT OUR YOUTH IS RENEWED LIKE THE EAGLE'S.

Praise God! My body, soul & mind are restored to a youthful brilliance to shine on this earth for His glory.

WORLD'S WISH LIST: Lord, I am so depressed around the holidays.

GOD'S GIFT TO US: Isaiah 61:4: Put on the garment of PRAISE for the spirit of heaviness. Psalms 150 - Praise the Lord!, Praise God in His sanctuary, Praise Him in His mighty firmament! Praise him for His mighty acts, Praise Him according to His excellent greatness!, Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet, with the lute and harp, with the timbrel and dance, with stringed instruments and flutes, with loud cymbals, with clashing cymbal. Everything that has breath praise the Lord.

Okay - my solutions to doom and gloom - Glory to God in the Highest, Peace, Good Will Toward Men. PRAISE THE LORD.

MY WISH LIST: I need PEACE in my Life - all I have are complications and strife.

GOD'S GIFT TO US: Isaiah 61: Arise, shine - for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given, and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the PRINCE OF PEACE.

Return to your First Love - Repent - Seek His Kingdom - AND ALL THESE THINGS WILL BE ADDED UNTO YOU. HALLELUJAH!

WORLD'S WISH LIST: Lord, I am tired of my "old" possessions - I want a new _______________ (fill in the blank) Luke 6:38 - Give and it shall be given unto you. Deny thyself and follow me.

GOD'S GIFT TO US: This season reminds us not be covetous, greedy or full of ourselves. But our challenge from Christ is to take this one step further and become his disciple by denying ourselves - OUR OLD WAY OF LIFE AND OUR PRIDE - in order to become the "NEW CREATION" in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:17 -Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation - old things have passed away - behold, all things have become NEW.

GOD'S GIFT TO US - JESUS CHRIST

"For He made Him who knows no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN HIM." 2 Corinthians 5:21.
